I started with my webzine before 10 years. It’s birthday has been this year. However, we have nearly 3000 reviews there- mainly Death Metal. One could think that was a lot of fun and community action, but it was pain in the ass. Meanwhile I stopped, while my lad continues.
I ask: who really needs a webzine, when there is MySpace or free downloads? Everybody can review interesting stuff themself! Everybody can listen to anything now!
What we really need is a website which has all the interesting links on it. I think Metal-Archives.com is a good start. Or a message board in which the recommendations are trustful.
However, lately i tried to figure out how much zines there are and started collecting a list.
